Pugh’s Christmas Festival 2011
Join us at Pugh’s Garden Village next weekend — on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December — to help us celebrate our second annual Christmas Festival. The festivities will be kick-started at around 10.15am, where six-year-old Ben Thomas will be topping our enchanting Christmas tree with his dazzling home made star, which will be followed by the eagerly awaited presentation of prizes to the winner and runners up of our local schools colouring competition, whose festive pictures will be on display throughout the Christmas period in The Bay Tree Coffee Shop.
Little ones will also have the chance to meet none other than Peppa Pig, who will be joining us to help celebrate the festivities during this fun-filled weekend. And Peppa Pig is not our only special guest — we will also be extending a very warm welcome to Simon Weston OBE, who will be signing books from 11am until 1pm on Saturday.
Over in the shrub area, visitors of all ages can enjoy freshly barbecued samples of our finest sausages, gammon, chestnuts and non-alcoholic mulled wine — all of which can be purchased from the Ty Nant Farm Shop.
Our jovial staff will also be wandering around the Garden Village offering samples of scrumptiously festive foods and drinks, while over at the Ty Nant Farm Shop, Jones Organic bakery will be offering samples of their delicious artisan breads, Cacennau Pantycelyn will be inviting you to taste their indulgent cakes, and Elite will be showcasing and sampling their scrumptious pies and pastries.
There will also be special tasting session of some of our Farm Shop’s festive produce — including the finest cheeses and crackers, handmade chocolates, homemade jams, chutneys and pates, Italian cured meats and flavoured scotch eggs — which will make the perfect additions to your Christmas feast.
Our extra special Christmas hampers will also be available to order throughout the weekend, and we would like to remind you that the last date for ordering our flavoursome locally-sourced poultry and meats in time for your Christmas feast is Sunday 11th December 2011.
With so much festive fun to be had for all the family, there really is no other
place to be!
As always, we look forward to seeing you soon!
